We started the day by visiting the Virginia Battlefields in the morning. The weather was not co-operative with rain on and off all day. We left Fredericksburg for the final time just before 14:00hrs.
We encountered a very nasty storm just south of Greensboro on I-85. We met up with John and Mary Kane along with Dave and Kelly Klingman at the local Shoney's. We had a good time especially when we noticed the female impersonator. We arrive at the "Hive" at 21:30hrs.
We will be departing for Charleston in the morning. The car seems to be working for now, but the forecast calls for a serious amount of heat tomorrow so if we get into Charleston early we could avoid this.
