Today we left later than normal and visited Tidewater Virginia. We visited in order, Yorktown, Williamsburg and Jamestown. The weather finally tried to play havoc with us for the first time on this trip. There is a parkway that links all three sites in a very nice setting making our trek quite enjoyable. We had lunch in Williamsburg at a place called "Mama Mia's" in the college section of town (William and Mary College). We watched a Putt-Putt tournament on the screen (on ESPN) and "Weeney Man" won the match.

We visited Theresa's new house that is under construction south of Fredericksburg and we had an enjoyable Chinese dinner. We discovered a toy horse for McQuack to ride again as well.

We have traveled almost 3500 miles in the van and 3800 miles overall. The car is holding up, but I am glad we are getting closer to home. We will we visiting Kiwi and Queen Bee (John and Mary Kane) in Charlotte, NC tomorrow and will be heading back to Charleston on July 2 (Friday). My family will probably stay during the holiday and return to St. Marys either late Sunday or Monday.
