We decided to make a late day of it and left after 09:00hrs. Our first stop was Manassas. I had a problem finding the place but we did arrive at 10:30. We visited Henry House Hill and walked around a bit.
We then sped up towards Frederick, MD. We did not find "Little Guy" Restivo again and we figured the Vorta still have him in captivity. We encountered some heavy rain around South Mountain on the way to Sharpsburg.
We arrived at the Antietam (Sharpsburg) Battlefield around 14:30hrs and visited the Sunken Road and Burnside's Bridge. We walked around Burnside's Bridge and I could not believe the mentality of trying to charge across that bridge under fire.
We crossed over into West Virginia and encountered their famous roller-coaster rolling hills. We then slipped on to US-17 South east of Westminster and followed that road back to Fredericksburg.
