The origin of McQuack is of one still shrouded in mystery. SgtMaj Scott Grant and Col David McCabe were on leave at Farpoint when a woman claiming to be a "Jedi Knight" confronted them saying and we quote "I must purge myself of this duck" at which time a dazed and bewildered duck was given into thier care. Over the next few months he traveled and trained with the Marines and enlisted on stardate 9712.13. The very same day he was to face a mission that forever changed him. He came face to face with a Omnipotent being known as "Q". This being confronted this poor duck and branded him with the letter "Q", thus he was forever to be known as "Q" McQuack. After the encounter he was assigned to a 4 month tour of duty with the USS Highlander. All was going well for McQuack until 2 months into his tour. At that time he was knapped by time travelers from the 29th century. He was taken back to 20th Century Earth where he was abandoned and left to fend on his own. The first order of business for the duck was to secure a means of income in monitary based society. McQuack applied for a job at a resturant known as Burger King. While working there he lived off the drink and food that the resturant had to offer. He even got to know some of the customers. Once he had secured enough income he invested it in the stockmarket and became rich quick. With expenses out of the way he started to search for a way to get back home. One day the makeshift tricorder he built detected temporal annomilies out in the woods. He went to investigate. There he found a time ship disguised as a outhouse. He attempted to interface the controls but had no luck the time travellers had taken a key componet with them that allowed for the ship to operate. He tracked the travelers to a center of education of the time. He discovered that they were planning to change time by making a man by the name of Mike Smith marry a girl by the name of Mandi Hermann. The time travelers knew that the offspring of this couple would grow up to dominate and rule the world. He had to stop them at all costs. He followed the travelers to thier remote base in Utah. There he discovered that if he could convince Mike Smith that Mandi wasn't interested the travelers plans would be thwarted. To accomplish this, he returned to New Jersey and posed as Amanduck Hermann and with the help of Little Duck he was able to convince Mike Smith not to marry Mandi. The future was saved, from the evil offspring. The travelers learned of McQuack's doings and came after him. The marine training came in handy as McQuack was able to defeat the travelers and regain the time componet he needed to get home. He went back to the outhouse and activated it. The next thing he remembers seeing is sitting dazed in front of Fleet Captain Gerri Wampler's quarters. He gave his debreifing to the Fleet Captain and rendezvoused with the Puller Strike Group two days later. |
